Eligibility & requirements

Who the programme is for

The requirements are set by the authorities. Here is what the published notices say you will need — and a quick self-check below. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee selection.

Official & free

Selection is by the government, through official channels — and taking part is always free.

Official channels Report a fee

The first cohorts are open to experienced tradespeople with at least A2 German. The exact requirements and the timetable are published by the Ministry of Labour and KNFJKA through official channels.

A self-check is not an application

The self-check below is informational only. It is not an application, it is free, and it does not guarantee selection. Selection is by the authorities — never by a private agency, and never for a fee.
